Terms of Service

Effective October 1, 2026.

1. Operator and service

ChainproofS operates ChainProof as a sole trader established in Sweden, with business address Östergatan 16, 21125 Malmö, Sweden. VAT number (Momsregistreringsnummer): SE881026593701. The organization number is available to customers on request by emailing privacy@chainproofcloud.com. ChainProof provides software that queries public blockchain transaction data through an API. It does not hold, transfer, exchange, or control cryptocurrency or customer funds.

2. Eligibility and availability

The service is available only where its provision and use are lawful. Users must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter the agreement, and must not use the service in breach of sanctions, export controls, or other applicable restrictions. Availability in a country does not mean that every use is lawful there.

3. Accounts and credentials

Provide accurate account information and protect account passwords and API keys. Do not publish keys or place them in client-side applications. You are responsible for activity performed using your credentials and must promptly report suspected compromise. Use the same verified account to manage a subscription; creating duplicate accounts to evade limits is prohibited.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the API, circumvent usage limits, interfere with provider infrastructure, submit unlawful content, or use the service for fraud, sanctions evasion, or other unlawful activity. The Operator may investigate suspected abuse and restrict access where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

5. Results and availability

Blockchain data may be delayed, reorganized, incomplete, or unavailable, and third-party providers may fail or return inconsistent results. Results are informational and are not legal, financial, investment, compliance, or fraud-prevention advice. You remain responsible for independent verification and decisions made using results. The service is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Plans, metered usage, and payment

Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. The plan price and currency, included quota, metered overage price, and any applicable taxes must be shown before checkout. Current plan rates are Starter €19 per month for 1,000 included verifications, Growth €49 per month for 10,000, and Enterprise €199 per month for 100,000. Unused included verifications do not carry over. Each accepted verification beyond the included quota is billed proportionally at the displayed plan rate: Starter €0.005, Growth €0.004, or Enterprise €0.003 per verification; overage is not rounded up to a block of 1,000. Each customer is responsible for paying taxes applicable in their jurisdiction. Any taxes the Operator is legally required to collect will be shown at checkout or on the invoice. Stripe processes checkout and billing; its invoice is authoritative for the billed amount and may reflect taxes or currency conversion disclosed at checkout. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access normally continues to the end of the paid period. Mandatory statutory withdrawal, cancellation, and refund rights are not limited by these Terms. Required pre-purchase information is presented at checkout.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and request account closure through privacy@chainproofcloud.com. The Operator may suspend access for non-payment, security risks, material breach, or legal requirements, subject to mandatory law and any notice rights that apply. Account-closure requests are handled by email; billing records may be retained as required by applicable law.

8. Intellectual property and liability

The Operator and its licensors retain rights in the service and software. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Consumer rights and disputes

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence. Disputes are handled by courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.
